Optimal air distribution in turkey rearing house
Rearing turkeys is a delicate matter, partly due to the high sensitivity for changing temperatures. Recently, Vostermans Ventilation Inc installed 4 Multifan V-FloFans in a turkey barn of 23,2 x 76,2 m. With the vertical air flow created by the V-FloFan the warm air near the ceiling is evenly distributed in the house. The smoke tests showed the optimal air distribution from the ceiling to animal level. This first installation created an increasing interest in this application from turkey growers across the U.S.
