Air circulation essential for dairy farming in Middle East
Under warm circumstances it is essential to circulate the air in dairy houses. In general, it is known that at high temperatures the food intake and milk production decreases and the chance of fertility problems increases. In the Middle East, where temperatures can increase up to 50ºC, a high airflow is important to guarantee a high milk production level. At moderate temperatures it is recommended to position the fans at each 18-20 meters at an angle of 10-12 degrees; in this application, the dairy farmer choose to position the Multifan Dairy fans at an angle of 30 degrees at each 12 meters. He also installed a misting system, which is operating continuously during the warmer months.
