Corporate social responsibility

Vostermans Companies introduced a social policy, which is based on attention to the individual contributor and the prevention of accidents. This includes many aspects:

  • An approachable organization
  • Improvement of the working environment
  • Health policy
  • Active prevention policies to prevent absence
  • Attention to problems in the private situation of the employees
  • The selection process takes place on the basis of motivation, reliability and mindset, resulting in a multicultural workforce force (more than 20 nationalities).

The commitment of staff and management in order to impove working conditions has led to relevant results: sick leave for several years stayed under 2.5%. The savings that this poses for our organization are reinvested in the above-mentioned preventive measures or aid in any other form for our employees.

An example of succesful technical innovation for improving the ergonomics and productivity is the introduction of a system allowing the number of times that a product is lifted to be halved!
